Schools with another language of instruction

Romanian in minority-language schools: practise for the exam

If you study in a school that teaches in Russian or another language, you write a separate Romanian exam at the grade 4 testing, the grade 9 exam and the BAC. On EduRol you prepare for it on this subject's own curriculum, with papers marked against the scheme.

Sit a simulation of the Romanian exam

The AI makes a paper on the public structure of the grade 9 exam, on the curriculum for minority-language schools, with a marking scheme, and marks it. The first one is free: you get 450 credits when you join. An unofficial example, for practice only.

or with email

In short

Pupils in schools that teach in a language other than Romanian sit a separate Romanian exam: at the grade 4 national testing (with an oral part), at the gymnasium final exams and at the BAC, where it is compulsory. On EduRol the curriculum "Romanian for schools with another language of instruction" is available for grades 1–12: a pupil does unit tests on their units and simulations of the grade 9 and BAC exams, made by AI and marked against the scheme, and a free pupil account comes with 450 credits, enough for the first paper. The simulations are unofficial examples, for practice only; they are not official MEC papers.

Where the Romanian exam is taken

In schools that teach in Russian or another national-minority language, Romanian is learnt on its own curriculum, and in the national assessments it has its own exam:

Grade 4 — the national testing in Romanian language and literature, with an oral part (in 2026, on 12 May). Grade 9 — the Romanian exam among the gymnasium final exams (in 2026, on 15 June). BAC — Romanian language and literature, compulsory for every candidate from these schools (the 2027 session runs from 2 to 18 June).

For each exam, ANCE publishes practice tests and the papers of past sessions, with their marking schemes, on its website.

The simulations are unofficial examples

EduRol's simulations are made by EduRol from the exam programmes and the exams' public structure. They are unofficial examples, for practice only; they are not official MEC papers: they do not come from Moldova's Ministry of Education and Research or from ANCE and are not endorsed by them. The official papers of past sessions, with their marking schemes, and practice tests are on ANCE's website.

How to prepare on EduRol

  • On your curriculum, not the general one

Pick "Romanian for schools with another language of instruction": the units and topics come from this subject's curriculum, for your grade.

  • A simulation of the exam

For grade 9 and the BAC the AI makes a paper on the exam's public structure, with a marking scheme; for grade 4, on a profile a parent makes. Unofficial examples, for practice only.

  • Written answers marked against the scheme

The AI marks the texts you write against the scheme; you can also send photos of handwritten work.

  • Your account, in your language

The account's menus and explanations can be in Russian, while the paper itself is, of course, in Romanian.

What you can do on EduRol

  • New papers, made by AI on your topics

Pick the grade, subject, kind of paper and the curriculum topics, or type your own. One AI model writes the paper with its marking scheme, a second one from another family re-solves every item with a single right answer, and a third reviews it. If they disagree on the key, you get no paper and pay nothing.

  • Marked against the scheme

Multiple-choice and numeric answers are marked by the program, at once and for free. Written answers are marked by AI against the scheme. Disagree with an item? Contest it: a stronger model re-marks it and never lowers your mark.

  • On paper too, from photos

The paper prints with an answer sheet, a QR code on every page. Write by hand, photograph the pages, and the AI reads the handwriting and marks it against the scheme. A photo that cannot be read is never marked wrong.

  • A notebook of mistakes

Every item you get wrong goes into the notebook, with the right answer and how to get there, so you can come back to it until you know it.

  • A map of the curriculum's topics

Every answer colours the topics: mastered, in progress, needs work. Topics come back for review after 7, 21 and 60 days, and quick practice on already-checked items is free. You are compared only with yourself.

What it costs

  • The library tests are free, with no account and no limit.
  • A pupil account is free and comes with 450 credits — enough for a first AI-made paper of any kind, an exam simulation included.
  • A new unit test usually costs about 120 credits; 10 credits = 1 MDL. You see the exact cost before you start and pay only for what the AI actually did.
  • Multiple-choice and numeric answers, hints and quick practice use no credits; marking written answers usually costs a few credits.
  • A pupil never pays: more credits are bought by a parent, from 100 MDL, from a link the child sends — no parent account needed.
