The grade 9 exam: online practice
Sit a grade 9 exam simulation
Pick the exam; the AI makes a 120-minute paper on the exam's public structure, with a marking scheme, and marks it. The first one is free: you get 450 credits when you join. An unofficial example, for practice only.
In short
The gymnasium final exams are taken at the end of grade 9; in the 2026 session there were four: the history of Romanians and world history, mathematics, the language of instruction (Romanian or Russian) and, in schools that teach in another language, Romanian. On EduRol a pupil solves free tests with marking schemes on the grade 9 topics and, with a free account, sits 120-minute simulations in mathematics, Romanian, Russian and history, made by AI and marked against the scheme; the first is covered by the 450 free credits. The simulations are unofficial examples, for practice only; they are not official MEC papers.
The exams of grade 9
The gymnasium ends with the national final exams. You may sit them if no yearly average in the subjects of the Framework Plan is below 5, and moving up to the lyceum follows passing the gymnasium final exam and the lyceum's admission contest.
In the 2026 session the exams were: the history of Romanians and world history (4 June), mathematics (8 June), the language of instruction — Romanian or Russian language and literature (11 June) — and, in schools that teach in another language, Romanian (15 June). The mathematics and history papers also exist in Russian. The 2027 timetable is approved by the Ministry and published by ANCE.
In recent sessions the mathematics paper lasted 120 minutes. ANCE publishes the papers of past sessions, with their marking schemes, and practice tests on its website.
The simulations are unofficial examples
EduRol's simulations are made by EduRol from the exam programmes and the exams' public structure. They are unofficial examples, for practice only; they are not official MEC papers: they do not come from Moldova's Ministry of Education and Research or from ANCE and are not endorsed by them. The official papers of past sessions, with their marking schemes, and practice tests are on ANCE's website.
How to prepare on EduRol
Free tests on the grade 9 topics
The library has unit tests with marking schemes for grade 9 (in Romanian); they follow the year's units, so they are also a topic-by-topic review before the exam.
A simulation for every exam
In mathematics, Romanian, Russian, history and Romanian for minority-language schools, the AI makes a 120-minute paper on the exam's public structure, with a marking scheme. Unofficial examples, for practice only.
On paper, as in the exam
Print the paper with its answer sheet, write by hand and take photos; the AI reads the handwriting and marks it against the scheme.
A plan up to June
Add the exam date, and the topic map and a week-by-week plan show what to revise and when.

What you can do on EduRol
Free tests with marking schemes, no accountThe library has unit tests for grades 5–12 on the units of the Moldovan curriculum. Solve them online and see your mistakes and the marking scheme at once, or download the PDF.
New papers, made by AI on your topicsPick the grade, subject, kind of paper and the curriculum topics, or type your own. One AI model writes the paper with its marking scheme, a second one from another family re-solves every item with a single right answer, and a third reviews it. If they disagree on the key, you get no paper and pay nothing.
Online, as practice or against the clockIn practice mode you can take a hint when stuck (it costs points on that item, not credits). In simulation mode you write without hints, in the exam's time, and see your mark at the end.
On paper too, from photosThe paper prints with an answer sheet, a QR code on every page. Write by hand, photograph the pages, and the AI reads the handwriting and marks it against the scheme. A photo that cannot be read is never marked wrong.
A notebook of mistakesEvery item you get wrong goes into the notebook, with the right answer and how to get there, so you can come back to it until you know it.
A map of the curriculum's topicsEvery answer colours the topics: mastered, in progress, needs work. Topics come back for review after 7, 21 and 60 days, and quick practice on already-checked items is free. You are compared only with yourself.
